Also written board connector, JST style connector, crimp housing and header.

What is a wire-to-board connector?

The small plug that joins a wiring harness to a circuit board: a header soldered on the board, a housing on the wire, and crimp contacts pressed into the housing. It is specified by pitch, the spacing between contacts in millimetres, then by pole count and by whether the housing locks. The three parts are ordered together, and the crimp contacts need the maker's tool.
