What we collect, and what we do with it.

When you send a requirement

The form takes your name, company, email and phone number, the part codes and quantities you listed, and any note you add. If you attach a photograph of a BOQ or a written list, the image is stored with the enquiry.

It is kept so our team can quote it and so the quote can be found again later. It is not sold, rented or shared for advertising, and it goes to nobody outside Data Systems except the mail provider that carries our notification to us.

When you join the list

Your email is stored, with your name, company and chosen topics if you give them. Nothing is sent until you confirm the address by clicking the link we email you, and every message carries a one-click unsubscribe that works without a login.

When you save a requirement list

A saved list lives behind a link with a random code in it. Anybody holding the link can open it, so treat it as you would treat the list itself. A list nobody has opened for a year is deleted automatically.

What we do not do

There is no advertising network on this site, no third-party analytics profile built about you, and no cookie that follows you elsewhere. The only cookie set is for our own team signing in to their console, and it is scoped to that.

Requests are rate limited so the forms cannot be flooded. That counter stores a one-way hash of your network address rather than the address itself, so the record cannot be turned back into a list of who visited.

Asking for a copy, or a deletion

Write to admin@datasystems.co.in or ring +91 99595 55222 and ask. We will tell you what is held against your email address and remove it if you want it removed.
