Which fibre cable goes indoors?
Indoor fibre cable is tight buffered and jacketed in LSZH: each fibre carries a 900 micron coat that can be terminated straight onto a connector, and the jacket gives thin smoke in a fire. It runs in risers and along trays between floors. It is not for outdoors or underground, where the gel or dry filled loose tube construction takes over.
