High temperature cable.

When is high temperature cable needed?

High temperature cable is needed where the run passes an oven, a furnace, a hot motor casing or an engine bay, where an ordinary PVC or PUR jacket would soften and the insulation would fail. Its insulation is silicone or a fluoropolymer rated to 180 degrees and beyond. Specify it by the temperature the route actually reaches, measured, not the room's.
