What is a fibre pigtail?
A pigtail is a short fibre with a factory-fitted connector on one end and bare fibre on the other, made to be fusion spliced onto an incoming cable. The factory end is the point: connector polish is done by machine, and the splice that joins it to the cable costs almost nothing in loss. Choose it by the connector going into the tray and the count of fibres arriving.
