Installation constraints	State rack mounting, noise, temperature, power supply and required delivery location. A matching port count does not prove physical or electrical suitability.

Keep the specification intact. A model suffix is a search aid, not a guarantee of PoE capability, routing functions or the budget available on the particular regional revision.

Are all ports on a PoE-labelled DGS switch powered ports?

Check the exact model's port table. A switch can have non-PoE uplinks or a powered-port count lower than its total port count. Confirm both the powered-port count and the total PoE budget before matching the switch to cameras or access points.

Is a DGS series name enough to approve a BOQ substitute?

No. Compare the full model, hardware revision, interfaces, PoE allocation, management features and project requirements. Submit the applicable datasheet with the proposed substitute for approval; the series name alone cannot establish equivalence.
