What does a cable protection sleeve do?
A cable protection sleeve wraps a bundle where it crosses an edge, passes through a panel wall or runs somewhere it can be scuffed, taking the abrasion the jackets would otherwise take. Spiral wrap can be added to a bundle already terminated; braided and split sleeves suit a harness built once. Outdoor grades resist sunlight; panel grades resist oil.
